`Artists Retreat`

Out of my comfort zone with this painting as it is painted in acrylics, not a medium I have much experience with. I chose all these books as my subject to enter into a themed competition at my local art society called `a quiet place`, seemed an ideal choice for an artist. I took the idea from a painting by Michelle the painter who you can find on youtube if you`d like to have a go at something similar yourself
