Bamburgh Beach

I chose this lovely beach scene to work in pastel after attending a demonstration evening by artist Graham Cox. This was initially a practice piece using the techniques Graham had shown us, but I was actually very pleased with the way it turned out and have even framed it now. Am very interested in what people will think of such a different subject for me. I think I may be doing some more sea/landscapes in the future. Watch this space ! Update August 2018 : I am delighted to tell you that this piece has sold whilst on Exhibition in Porthcawl Art Society :-)
