Magnificence

The king of the jungle. This beautiful lion was painted in hard/soft pastel.
With thanks to Chris Allsebrook for the fantastic reference photo. Although painted quite a few years ago now, I decided to enter this piece into the Spring Exhibition 2023 at Porthcawl Art where I was delighted to receive first prize, and then such a lovely surprise when he sold as well :-)
